Offspring of the Sun is an orchestral love ballad, and my first collaboration with a wonderful and talented singer here on FurAffinity, shadowwolfen.
It will be part of the original soundtrack of A Dragon Lovestory, an upcoming full-length 3D-animated motion picture produced by kyomotion.
Let me just say:
It's been a blast working with you guys; I had lots of fun, and I'm very satisfied with how this turned out. Having said that; I hope there'll be more chances to work together in the future!

Not only do I know you guys very well and your music,
I also really love this genre so much.
This song is pure love to me, in a much deeper

Thank you. We've already talked about this on ICQ, but once again, I much appreciate your feedback on this. Even more because it's not just plainly technical, but shows that I've managed to scratch on the surface of music that creates emotions and feelings.
I think achieving that is the highest of all compliments a musician can ever get, and that credit goes to Shadowwolfen and Kyo, too.

Every time I try to multitask while your music is playing it forces me to stop! It's beautiful. I couldn't even write a comment about how great it was with this track on. It commanded my attention, compelled me to stop and listen. Very few other things can make that claim. I'm usually not that much into smooth vocals like this. Reminds me too much of the tone-deaf religious ballads that you hear on AM Radio. This one though, this one shattered the mold and threw the pieces to the winds. I really felt the passion in the music. I believed the love in the words. Absolutely stunning. On a rough day that started at 1 AM and still isn't quite over yet, this is exactly what I needed.
Everytime I see a comment of yours it makes me smile, and ponder at the same time. Smile, because you always come up with wonderfully elaborate, both emotional and personal feedback; and ponder, because often I simply don't know what to respond, and yet feel bad for not finding at least a few words in return, even though I really want to, just to show my appreciation for the time you took to listen and comment on it.
So, please accept a humble 'Thank you' for that. It's much appreciated and motivating, even if I don't always find the proper words to respond in an adequate way.

My first thought was that you probably didn't listen to a lot of music on FA yet... so I visited your FA profile page, and flattened my imaginary lynx ears in shame, as I was proven wrong; even discovering that you thought this piece would deserve a shout-out on your journal.
Honestly, thank you so much for that. It's the dream of every writer to books and stories others want to read, of every artist to create art others want to see; and of every musician (including myself) to create music others want to listen to. Stumbling upon something like this, combined with the kind words of yours, is invaluable, and means a lot to me, and certainly also to the two wonderful people who contributed so much to this.

Now that I have seen the words "humbeling" and "religious" I can not stand anymore to comment here myself: Well it is a DRAGON LOVESONG and I am entirely flattered that it works out so very well. It tells it's tale and it comes with a message. Yes. And I am happy that this message has been heard and apreciated

Oh, no need to be reserved about this; it's true!
I can't write lyrics (and I really, really tried...), and I most certainly can't sing. Being able to work with someone who's able to write such strong, emotional lyrics within an hour, and someone who's able to interpret, understand and sing them in such a moving and touching way was beyond 'fun'; it was merely addictive, in a very positive way. Even in the early stages of this project, the little glimpse at what it might sound like once it'd be finished was so motivating to me that I really was addicted to working on it.
And quite possibly, that made me get on Kyo's and Shadowwolfen's nerves, constantly stressing them to send me 'that revised thing we talked about' so that I could finally add it.
