The subject species originally was an Asian Water Monitor Lizard, a powerful and large lizard. It was exposed to a retrovirus, which was genetically enhanced under extreme experimental conditions in a lab, located on a remote and undisclosed location off the eastern coast of North Korea. This virus was highly adaptive, able to change its host and force it to adapt to stresses and pressures from its environment. It makes its hosts’ DNA change in two ways. 1: The DNA takes on useful traits from creatures it hunts and consumes. The DNA is analyzed by the virus and is either discarded or incorporated into the hosts’ DNA if found to be potentially beneficial to the host. 2: Exposure to pressure or stress from an injury or environmental factor. The testing began on 11/03/2045.

The subject was exposed and after 3 days, nothing happened. When it went under the stress of an attack, with a researcher dealing a light bludgeoning attack to the subject with a smack of a beating stick, its skin reacted and began changing somewhat after 3 minutes. What it evolved was a thickened hide and a somewhat spiked back region on its back, the back of its neck and on its tail. Another experiment was placing it into a water tank to see what would change. After less than 2 minutes, its tail gained a rudder made of scales, along with its tail becoming slowly more paddle-like over the course of 30 minutes. However, this did result in the creature growing to the size of a massive saltwater crocodile, growing up to 23 feet long.

08/12/2046. Another experiment was introduced after injection of axolotl DNA that allows the specimen to use the axolotl's regenerative capabilities. When the subject was induced with physical harm, by limb remove, it regrew its removed limb within a week. But this also seems to have increased growth and strength for unknown reasons, along with a more aggressive behavior than normal. The behavior could be a more reactive response to the environment it's in, the testing, or genetically induced, we won't know until further study.

Size: 23 feet in length and 1 ton.

Powers and Abilities:
-Strong ripping bite that injects a venom and the virus that can make a person go rabid, along with the venom being a blood thinner, making the bitten bleed to death within an hour.
-Strong hide that can resist most blunt trauma
-A regenerative ability that allows him to regrow lost parts.
-Strong tail that can be used to swim around and to bash enemies
