I mentioned that this year, 2024, marks 10 years since I first created my polar bear, Frysta Caalin, and 10 years back also marks when she first began to teach students in both second/third grade at her school! So, flashforward to the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, Frysta, whom was on maternity leave, was visiting the high school in which her friend Aurra Eskimski teaches math and choir, for many of her former, and first ever, students are attending. Frysta's quite proud of how far her students have come, being in 11th and 12th grade as they head into 2024, and she's not afraid to proclaim that. ^^
I also can't help but imagine some of her former students were quite surprised to see her pregnant at age 40. >w>;
