King Koopa's public image
I've been playing Nintendo games for quite a while (been playing all sorts of games for that matter). One thing that Shaw and I talked about last night really hit home. What's the deal with making Bowser into some friendly cute guy?
So here it is, a fake note from Bowser to Nintendo asking 'nicely' for them to stop making him cuddly.
This was part of an OC session yesterday (we also sketched Flurrie and Vivian from paper mario) that I decided to photoshop. It's been months since I've touched the program.

Technically, his name is "Bowser Koopa, King of the Koopas", so "King Bowser" and "King Koopa" are the same thing.
Of course, this is just an explanation of the differences of the American and Japanese versions- America has always known him as "King Bowser", and Japan knew him as "King Koopa", so they just made one his first name, and the other his last. This has left some inconsistencies, but it worked out- a similar thing happened with the Princess, hence her name being "Peach Toadstool" now.
