This is the piece that Kacey and I did for the FCN conbook cover. The scene is a Japanese summer festival, with lots of characters enjoying themselves in yukata (light summer kimono), and getting treats/playing games at the various booths. (I snatched the text from Kacey's posting ^^)

Kacey did the pencil sketch of the piece and inked it digitally, and I did the coloring in Photoshop. Large file, loooots of layers! =) I very much enjoyed it!

That is actually one thing I want to get, and that's a mask of simple feline design but is able to attach to your face without a head band or so.

This is a great little piece you two pulled together ^^ I loved it so much that I've started using it as my Desktop Background because of the atmosphere it creates and gets me in the mood for a Convention I'm going to that is related to the Japanese Culture and its Animation in July XP I just realized today while looking at my screen the little signature tags for you and

on the spot where the little girls are fishing for little fish X3 Really crafty and unique to hide it in there so its still has yours and the other artists' ownership to the piece

I'll be honest, I just saw this as another of your (admittedly amazing x3) pieces, when the true atmousphere struck me as I scrolled over the picture.

The atmousphere of the place...how it must feell, in the middle of the night, to wander round, everyone happy and smiling, haveing a great time...

It gave me goosebumps o.o

It's pictures like these that make me want to fave twice - no, thrice...

Hey Tani, I already faved this on Kacey's gallery, but I will repeat here what I commented on her submission:

FCN was fortunate to get you both to do their conbook cover. Both drawing and coloring are superb. There is a lot going on in this piece. I especially like the character at the far left (very attractive to me), and the dark starry moonlit sky. Very nice!
