That it is possible to make ramen in the microwave, without having to dirty up a pot or pan in the process. 🍜
It was a bit of a test for me, at first.... where I broke the noodle brick in half - then poured some hot water half-way in the bowl you see, and then simply boiled the one-half brick in the microwave for about four minutes.
When I did so, I added some garlic powder, some soy sauce, a bit of salt, (and of course after it was done): the ramen flavor pack..... along with a few pieces of chicken breast on top.
And it came out rather well; and about an hour later when I got a bit hungry again, I made the other half of noodles the same way.... and again, it was fine. ☺
So I can attest - from first-hand experience, that you don't need a pot or pan if you don't want to clean it later on, to make this basic soup for yourself. 🍜
(The only drawback I found): was that the noodles didn't expand and get fatter like they would've done in the pan 🍲; even though they were fully cooked and quite tender in my mouth.... and so, the noodles stayed on the smaller side; even though they were quite good overall.
So enjoy the pic of this experiment I did at lunch today, if you like. 🍜
