A feared and loathed dragon lying in wait... Hold on, did she always look like that?
I spent the past week playing the TTYD remake, and part of the new content included concept art for Hooktail with a rose pattern on her back, which immediately inspired me to draw an anthro version of her based on the concept art. The roses in particular were a treat to draw, even if coloring them ended up being a bit of a chore.
As for the end result, I think Thorntail feels like a more appropriate name for this version of Hooktail, between her pointed tail and the rose motif.
