Little do the staff or even the other animatronics know, but Freddy has another side to himself. There's nothing he loves more than getting to entertaining kids and put a smile in their face with every new day, but after closing hours he found himself doing pretty much nothing.
In his monotony, Freddy decided to use his spare time to learn about the sublime arts: psychology and philosophy. In his journey he learned many wonderful things, among them the basics of psychoanalysis. So much so that he decided to pursue the path of the therapist. A difficult career to finance if you're a slave and don't have a cent to your name, but with the internet everything is possible.

Little does the university he got that E-degree from knows, but the "Freddy Fazbear" they gave a PsyD to is a bear robot.
Seeing What's going on with Roxy, Freddy sees an excellent opportunity to put his knowledge to use and help her out.
