And last but not least, we have the strongest member of Taka's Guard - Zuberi. Zuberi is the mate of Sarafina, the father of Nala and Mheetu, the maternal grandfather of Kopa, Kiara, and Kion, and the paternal grandfather of Tiifu, Zuri, Akili, and Zuber. His grandson, Zuberi the Second (Zuber for short) is named after him.

Zuberi is based both on the cave painting of Nala's father and (rather loosely) on the cave painting of Taka's Guard seen in the early season of The Lion Guard. After the show came out with official designs for those characters, I decided to keep using my original designs for a few reasons, not the least of which is that I find the show's designs kind of ugly. Besides, it makes sense in my Lion Guard AU for Kion not to know exactly what those characters really looked like.
