If you watched the stream a bit today, then here you have the finished piece! Will make an alternative one where I'll add orthographic side views and stuff, like a ref sheet or something...without the annoying "warpcloud".
The bridge is divided into the Cockpit section (front) and the Battle planning/operations area (aft). One more thing: It's AI is "John Wayne" xD
Thanks to
Izzy and
Tokon for that!

Oh, I remember it from some sciency discussion about how light/warp/ludicrous speed would appear visually. The Mass Effect games drew from some of that in their development. It's mostly just a visual clash of blue and red light around the ship. Nothing terribly important really, especially considering light/warp/ludicrous speed travel is fictitious in our current understanding of physics and technology.
Diggin' the Star Warsy comms array. The ship reminds of the 'Nostromo' and that ship from Dark Star a tad.

Of course, now when you put it like that it's all clear. The "warp cloud" was actually inspired from the Mass Effect 1 "travel loading sequence". Didn't bother to look it up and get a ref so I just did something from my vague memory x3
Nostromo = win! That's the kind of design language (if one can call it that xD) I draw most of my inspiration from. Have to watch Dark Star now that you mention it! Thanks!
