It's summertime and around the week that last year I met my boyfriend and my life changed drastically for the better. As the days and nights warm up I'm reminded, immersed even, in all the ways I fell in love with him. He's who I go through it all with and get away from it all with. I'd explain it all, how we're on the same wavelength and love eachother in a way I've never experienced and won't after, but man words just never seem to do it justice. He's my soul mate, so so special to me, and I have the biggest crush on him.

I love seeing him every day, and how we swing our hands together when we hold them, how we make eachother laugh and how we share every thought with eachother. I love how we tickle and chase eachother around the kitchen and yard and even just like around the car in the parking lot and how he picks me up when he catches me. I love going out to eat with him and going on adventures with us and our puppy. I love how we just talk about everything, I've never had anything bad to say about him. I love his soft side, I love how open his heart is and how he always makes me feel safe and cherished and I love how much he appreciates me and what I do for him. I love how if he learns something from me and applies it elsewhere he tells me about it and thanks me, I love how we're always learning from eachother. He's taught me so, so much (and not just about global history!) and adds a richness to my life I've never known before. What we have is something I've never even gotten close to experiencing before and it's truly, truly special. I love him, my soul mate, my best friend. ♡
