Here's an image with an idea. What's happening? Is he a wanderer passing through a fishing village or a someone returning from home or on leave from the military tying his sneakers back into place before the last tenth of a mile into town? So many possibilities only an image with quality to it could evoke.

So beautiful. :'[ Great to see how carefully the light source has been observed; there's quite a lot of texture and shade detail in here. It's interesting that you've put a grainy effect on the whole thing. I can't work out whether it's supposed to look like an ageing photograph, or whether it's supposed to represent a warm, sunny haze, but it's nice. This picture is exactly why I love your work: you manage to create wonderfully calm and peaceful scenes, and I like the vastness of this one in particular. Interesting character, too; the blue suits the theme well.
