The captain always goes down with his ship, as they say. Or in this case, down a gullet.
Or in other words, if you've gotten someone worked up by them slicing and swallowing their way through your crew, they may be a little stuck in a rage to be listening to you. Like, right about now, he's trying to talk her down, and she can't hear anything but the blood pounding in her ears and the undeniable urge to fill her stomach.
So yeah. Probably should have started with the sweet talk, instead of trying to talk her down after trying to take her down. But there's still plenty of room in her stomach. Might pop a few buttons on her shirt, or force her belt open, but she's going to make him fit. :3
