This started out as trying out the anime style mostly human faced character with animal ears thing. I've seen a few examples here on FA and think they can look quite cool. Quite how it turned into something that looks about twelve in a labcoat eludes me as I suck at drawing younger characters.

I like how it turned out, especially the plump lower lip and forlorn expression. Anime noses of this style are quite fun to draw too.
