I mean technically it's sort of an upgrade, don't have to worry about eating or breathing anymore, the one downside the constant squeaking.

It might seem silly but probably best to wear clothing to help cover vulnerable points. Even considering getting a full fursuit, to help with weight and not revealing the very puncturable body.

consider this depending with the clothing, they can get into places under the radar if done correctly.
(some places certain age groups get into places free)

regular clothing=go to every trivia night, and challenge everyone at a "place" to a drinking contest(living pooltoy means they can't get drunk). lets just say they could get into mischief and no one would believe anyone's story

no clothing route=paired with the others, no place is really not of bounds/off limits(and with how many items are out there to repair things, any small damages might be able to be fixed(that's why a backpack or something would be a must.

small clothing = could pass off as someone younger.
plushes(or as kaf said fursuits(and depending on the type some people might be able to be bypassed aka security)

1:regular= depending on size it would be best for everyday use
2. quadsuit=sizing could be helpful, and possibly more usable since they don't have to worry about overheating
