This song has me sobbing constantly lately... bet you couldn't have seen another vent art / blood related piece coming, hah... inspired by the phrase "crocodile tears," and how butterflies drink their tears in real life... but these butterflies don't seem to be very conventional... Completed over the course of two days. 8.5 x 5 in. on mixed media paper, acrylics, colored pencils, soft + hard pastels, varnished with workable fixative. Available for purchase, $90 (which includes shipping and lamination to the USA) - comment or note me to claim!

Me too - looking up crocodile spiritual symbolism, this is just one of the many things that comes up: "Crocodile can teach us many lessons, one is to value our strength." Crocs seem to be more connected to trickery than alligators, however... it would definitely be recommended to do further research if you feel so inclined, it's quite interesting.... ^.=.^
