I have this vague idea that, later in its story, when Jex as broken free from her handlers and is learning how to live as an actual person, she undergoes some aesthetic modifications and has a lavalamp-esque tank installed in her torso. Still figuring out why this is or what it does or how it functions exactly, but it's a neat visual I'd like to explore.
