It's been SUCH a long time since I posted some of my mermen! I'm dissapointed in myself. In any case, this is a tidbit. I haven't decided if I'm going to finish this in any way other than this, so here you have it in plain, black and white glory!

This would be one of my Payid, Takeeo, as the title suggests. :P He's the weapons master, which means he is the authority on creating arms for their entire species, though they are traditionally pacifist. The weapons they create are used in trade with the surface world, and very few are willing to craft them. To many Payid, the act of killing another with anything that came from their hands is unbearable, but some, like Takeeo, are violent by nature, and more than willingly will help humans to kill one another.

Random fact: The egg-gem on Takeeo's forehead swirls brightly with his fertility, but he will NEVER breed, because he hates human females that much. He actually has a lover, the cleric/dancer Matiew, who is still too young yet to be fertile. Hee.

Also, before anyone gets into the impossible use of those weapons, they are for piercing. He uses them for hunting, or defending against the big cat-squid things who like to eat Payid.

His tail should be scaled, but I have not that much patience anymore.
