Ember Dragons, unlike their more famous cousins, are gentle, delicate creatures. They drift in and out of existence, usually in the wake of forest fires, and feed on dry leaves, nuts and grass. Long hunted as prizes for their beauty, they are extremely rare in captivity as they tend to scatter themselves into thousands of glowing embers at the merest hint of danger; only re-assembling themselves once the threat has passed.
