A couple people have recently asked me if I planned on doing any more uploading anytime soon... and so I decided I'd do a little something to show you all I still know how to (pretend to) make music. I wrote/recorded this in under a collective 3 hours. A lot of people seemed to like my older, simpler stuff, and so that's what I modeled this after. Nothing complicated, nothing spectacular... just guitar, and my voice.
I'm still working on the next CD, on the side. Should have it done by the end of June, at the latest. ^^

Festival of innocence,
lay upon my arm,
and pray that your penitence,
will never do you harm.
For there could be no better place,
than right here with you.
And despite my happy face,
I know what I must do.
(Chorus)
Tomorrow is a better day,
I swear it's true.
And there could be no better way,
than to greet tomorrow with you.
With you.
With you.
Stay here in my bed, my dear,
let me hear you speak.
I can't listen but I hear,
and that's enough for me.
When we part, know it's okay,
though we part as friends.
For when I do return someday,
we're lovers again.
(Chorus)

Why thank you, sir. ^^ My older acoustic stuff on here was about the same, in terms of simplicity... and people seemed to like that, so I thought I'd try to come back to it once in a while. Though most of those individuals have probably long-since given up on listening. *Snickerwoofs* Regardless, cheers for the favourite, as well. *Wags*
Awws, this is very sweet. I'm glad I finally got a chance to sit down and listen to it. It's really put a big smile on my face And don't be so modest. You're an amazing lyricist, with some of the most beautiful acoustic melodies to boot. I DEFINITELY want to hear more stuff like this from you, 'cause it ALWAYS brightens up any day
Why thank you, sir! ^^ I'm so very glad that you enjoyed it. You do flatter me, as always... *Wags sheepishly* I'm not sure what else I can say in response to such delightful kindness. I do hope that any future work of mine will be equally appeasing to your ears, of course. *Arfs!*
A late comment is better than no comment at all, in my eyes. *Winks* Especially one as delightful and flattering as this. *Folds his ears back shyly* I'm very glad that you liked it so, of course! Thank you much for your kind words... sometimes my voice works, sometimes it doesn't. ^^
Variety is the best thing to have in my opinion anyways :] Singing and playing guitar at the same time is harder than it looks and sounds though! x] I really respect that you can do that! *pants happily*
Well I mostly play metal and such *winces shyly*, but my favorite thing to play is stuff like Nirvana :] I play electric mostly hehe

I don't mind different styles of music, no worries. ^^ Electric can be fun- I've got a few in my gallery here and there. I used to do a lot more with electric than I did with acoustic, but I've switched in the last few years. *Shrugs* Lately I've tried getting back to the electric more... so ideally I'll have some newer stuff with that submitted eventually. *Noses* So you keep on playing, and keep on drawing, and keep on being your bordery self. ^^
When I hear the words Furry and Music attached together, I often let out a long sigh and listen politely. It seemed as though the furry fandom has amazing artistic talent in everything but music. But I just stumbled upon the :furrymusicians: spotlight for November 30th and found a couple songs that weren't too bad. But then out of no where, there's a clip of your song 'A Better Day'. To say that this song is any less than amazing is blasphemy. You have an amazingly talented voice and the notes to the guitar were perfect. You have a gift with music, and it was an absolute pleasure to listen to this song and the others you have posted on your account.
First and foremost, let it be known that any pleasure you got from listening to my music was at least doubled on my part in reading your comment. ^^ I would have to say that such is the most-delightful single piece of feedback I've ever received here in the land of Fah. So do know that you have my deepest gratitude for such. It's responses such as yours that remind me why I still bother doing any of this music stuff at all, anymore... despite my being terribly out of practice. *Snickerwoofs* I certainly can understand your view on the "furry music" scene; I'm generally the same way. There are a few occasional gems, but mostly I find myself unwilling to wade through mounds of "bleh" to find them. Not that I consider myself one such "gem", but I shan't seemingly discredit you for the kind words I've just thanked you for. *Winks* Regardless, I'm very happy and flattered that you enjoyed this (and others), and sincerely thank you for your comment and the favourites you found, as well. It is, of course, my hope to continue doing things that those such as yourself will enjoy. All the best, now.... *Arfs!* ^^
You're certainly more than welcome to ask whatever you'd like. ^^ I'm actually a pooch who prefers the older style of music- I grew up listening to (and still do listen to) a lot of stuff from the 60s-80s, Gordon Lightfoot included. Generally-speaking, I like to be diverse in my musical interests... I like classical and big band stuff, as well as various 90s music and all that jazz. And everything in between. There are a few things here and there I can't stand, but overall I can't stick to one genre. Babbling-bordery-me aside, that 60s/70s calmer ideal has always kind of stuck with me... so I find I'm influenced by that a lot, especially since it seems to be missing in most modern music.
