I said echoing his words back to him without much thought.

Doc: "Sheep are fluffy."

Dexter: "Sheep are fluffy..."
Which of course they were. We bred them to be that way for centuries.

Doc: "Sheep are meek."

Dexter: "Sheep are meek..."
Which of course they were. They were prey animals.

Doc: "Sheep are docile."

Dexter: "Sheep are docile..."
Which of course they were. We domesticated them for centuries to be friendly with humans.

Doc: "Sheep are followers."

Dexter: "Sheep... Are, followers..."
He was right. Of course he was right.
And sheep were practically the poster children for blind obedience.
However hearing this, while being subject of the generalization...
Felt wrong.
I wasn't a mindless follower. I was smart, independent, I worked hard to gain control over my life.
