Pallas is talking to Coeus while Coeus is at work in the lab in his spaceship. "I just wish I could help her, Pallas... but even Destiny herself made it clear that what she desires is impossible to achieve without it ending tragically..." The black goblin brings up though: "Coeus... you know how intelligent you are. You are the most intelligent person in the universe. This... should allow you to somehow find a solution to Dione's predicament. There's gotta be something we can do. You're a genius... Use that."
That's when Coeus does indeed get an idea, as the look in his eyes change from powerlessness to hope: "... Of course. We... may be unable to provide Dione with a child to raise herself, but... using the technicalities of how Destiny explained the situation to her... there is a kind of loophole. Though, again, not to actually give Dione a child, but... something close enough, possibly. Pallas... thank you. Genuinely, thanks for encouraging me to take full advantage of my brain, heh." "Don't mention it.", Pallas replies, giving just the slightest smile.
So then Coeus messages Dione right away, letting her know about meeting him in three days." Pallas wonders: "What would take three days to prepare?", though the male anthro moth remarks: "Honestly... I'll likely finish it within one day, but I give it three days just to be sure." "Overachiever.", Pallas tells him jokingly. Coeus then decides to also message Tethys and Oceanus to come that day too, expecting things to get very emotional, so that it might be best for all of them to be there for Dione when the time comes.

Three days later then, the whole group (Coeus, Dione, Tethys, Oceanus, Charon and Pallas) all come together at Coeus's home. Well, Oceanus has to stay outside though because of how gigantic he is, he simply watches things happen through the window instead. Something is being covered with a blanket inside there as if it's a surprise. Dione just guesses: "Did you make another great advancement in science, Coeus? If so, what did you discover this time?", though then she realizes: "Wait... No, you would be too humble of a scientist to make a big deal out of it. Huh, what... what is this about then?" So Coeus then brings up: "Destiny's words, from what you've told us... they made it clear that you could never have a living child for good... However... maybe... something that isn't actually alive can at least fill the empty slot a little bit." In response to that, Charon the Crocodile jokes: "So are you gonna give her a pet rock then?", though the hyper intelligent Rosy Maple Moth states: "Heh... it's a tiny bit more advanced than a rock." He then takes the cover off the surprise, revealing it to be...

...a robot, resembling an anthro moth child. Coeus adds: "I had to make sure to make it only artificial intelligence, even though I would be capable of more if I'd only try, just so that what Destiny warned against couldn't possibly apply to this. Anyway... I know it's in no way gonna make up for an actual child, but maybe... maybe it can give you a tiny bit of comfort, Dione." Dione's desire to be a mother remains strong, so that even though this robot wouldn't be truly alive in any way, this feels like the closest she's ever been to having an actual child of her own. So this makes her approach the robot with heavy emotions before kneeling down in front of it to be at eye level, trying to talk to it: "H-Hey there...", with very convincing AI responding back with a voice like a robotic girl: "Hi mommy! Nice to finally meet you, hehe. I'll try to be a good daughter to you, okay?" Dione can't help but cry from this because of how much having anything resembling having a child affects her. She then gets up and hugs Coeus very tightly, having decided immediately to let this robot be part of her family, "Coeus... thank you... thank you so... so much..." "Anything for my best friend.", Coeus hugs her back with a smile, as the others in this group smile at the outcome of this too, even Pallas who doesn't tend to smile a lot.
When Charon asks: "So... hehe, what should we name our daughter?", Dione barely even hesitates, definitely suggesting she had thought about what to name her child even before all the problems got in their way of that, answering right away: "Higeki. After a friend I knew and... because of what I had to get through to get here. It... almost weirdly... feels worth it." Oceanus outside remarks: "I don't get that second reason.", so that Coeus lets him know: "Higeki means tragedy." "Ooooohh.", Oceanus now gets it. Dione adds: "The parents of the friend I knew were probably quite into the art of theater, hehe... That would certainly explain why they'd pick that name.", looking to the robot again, "Higeki... welcome to the family. Now I've got it... Now I've got a complete family."

A complete family. Something she never experienced in any way before then... but wait a second. This feeling of family Dione feels right now... it's not actually unfamiliar, and not just because Dione obviously knew her own mother. The female anthro moth looks around, looking at everyone. Coeus, Pallas, Tethys, Charon... Oceanus still joining by looking through the window, and then at the robot she just named after her deceased friend Higeki. This isn't an unfamiliar feeling, no. It's something she now realizes she had felt with them all this time too.
So Dione corrects herself: "No... Higeki there... wasn't the one to complete the family. She instead... added onto it. I've... I've had a complete family all along, haven't I?" Coeus smiles at hearing that, as he can immediately conclude what she means, though she then states it herself, crying some again as she talks to the group: "I... I was so focused on achieving what I wanted that... I didn't even realize... how much I already had. I... had a family of my own, I had it all this time. You all... You're my family. Sticking with me through everything... I'm... s-so sorry I didn't even realize it until now and... I'm so thankful to have you all... You guys care about me like nobody else does, you're there for me even during my lowest points... you don't give up on me. Even you, Coeus, went out of your way to build a robot for me to have anything even remotely resembling an own child... You do... so much for me, everyone... and I don't think I've ever shown enough appreciation for it in return but... I gladly do now, so... thank you..." With this realization, and more tears because of how emotional she feels about it, she can now fully appreciate who they are to her. Aww, Happy Ending. :) Well, if that would be the end of this story, which, evidently, it's not.
