I decided to make a complete illustration with this ship. The idea is common routes are commuted via huge ships with small engines mainly for maneuvering, they'd go through gates and that's it. For exploration, however, nothing can beat solar sails in range and speed. So you'd get this mix of sail-like vehicles with more industrial looking ones, which I think is quite cool that is
