Been a while since I've updated this project. School has harshly eaten up all my time, and creativity has periodically vanished, but we're finally drawing to a close 6 months down the road. Now to just add in a very special person, and my most complicated/detailed project to date will be complete! It's been a blast, and, oddly enough, I'm grateful that it took me this long. Things have been learned between sessions that I did not know six months ago. Hopefully they'll come in handy for the final touches.
The final version *will* be complete by Saturday due to hard physical restrictions I need to keep within, but you won't be seeing an upload here until at least Sunday. The tradee needs to see the finished product first, after all.
Seeing as FA makes one shrink everything to 1280 x 1280, you're getting the semi-blurry version here. If you want to view it in the original 2330 x 2838 px, follow the link: http://cid-5d19490098fbccb4.photos......ra%20Plain.png
Trivia: Everything done so far is made up of only four colors. i.e. you could probably render this on the original Gameboy without too much trouble.
Full size, this comes out to 2' by 2.5'. Not quite poster size, but still pretty dang big.
P.S. While I'm going to be going over this with a fine tooth comb before submitting the final version, if anyone has any suggestions and/or mistakes they want to point out, please go ahead and do so. I've taken so long that I'd like this to be as close to perfect as I can swing it.

I'll take that to mean you consider it to be pretty dang close to perfect then? In any case, as of this moment all I need to finish are your head, your hands and the bow. The cello turned out a heck of a lot better than I expected (it almost formed itself of all things), and I wouldn't mind owning a copy of the rainbow suit, particularly if I got the shoes to go with it.
Now for the pseudo-bad news... I'm going to have to make a secondary pic. The family has been watching me make periodic progress on this over the past couple months, and they've cottoned on to the fact I'm almost done. Thus, I need to make a "human" version as well. Good news! You're getting two versions of this poster - one furry, one not! Of course, this just means you can show this trade piece off to either crowd. Long story short, when I see you tomorrow I'm going to need to take a pic and/or use you for a live model. Hope that's alright?

Consarnit!!! In that case, I might as well spoil the surprise. You know how this is about half-poster size? I was within fifteen minutes of actually printing this out so that you could have a physical copy/poster for your wall. In other news, I should be sending you a link to what is probably the final version in about 15 mins as well.
