I made a thing!

Specifically, I wrote a script that takes an arbitrary solid shape and fills it with a 3D grid of planar pieces that all notch together so you can laser-cut them out and put them together into a thing! So to test it, here's a random squiggly tentacle thingy laser-cut out of particle board and assembled.

I really want to get access to a CNC router and make a big furniture thing with this system, because the whole thing becomes bookcases.

I'm really happy about this. You can tell I'm an architecture student.

Currently super-swamped with school work, though, so can't make any more crazy fun things like this. Need to finish the semester. Can't screw it up.
