It's his axe-pertise. And I used the old ref because it was the only one I found that was labeled as your fursona. The purple ear is a really embarrassing coloring mistake.
dont feel bad the purple ear thing is not so bad. and my new ref is my featured, as well as many of my pictures involve a character name "mira" which is my current fursona. if you change it to mira, the joke will be lost. i really like this. and unless pointed out you assume the ear is just a chunk of hair.
