flinters is a cool artist keen on kangaroos. Long ago, in a medium far away, he and I came up with this concept of a "snowshoo roo", a blend of kangaroo and snowshoe hare. I was trying to work out Rooth'roo's origins and native environment and stuff, and that species evolved from the conversation. So I've been itching to see him draw Rooth some day. The opportunity arrived last month when he opened up for some SugarNutz commissions, and I snagged a slot.

I offered a bonus for paws and an added bonus for macro size, and threw a bunch of ideas his way. He picked one, and went with it, and this is the result! In the progress pic I could see he put a lot of effort into making the buildings look right, with proper perspective techniques and such. Pretty sweet, I'm really impressed with it.
Be sure to take note of the clock on City Hall. ;) Oh, and the graffiti here and there. Nice touches!
