Hahaha, on that occasion, both Rockshie and Esteban were "flying low" as we say here. Esteban was depressed because Lilethe was still in a coma in the hospital after Faise's attack. And Rockshie is a very tender and protective chakat. Then that 💋 kiss happened heh heh.

The good thing is that Lilethe never found out, because she was still in a coma at that time. 😜

Oh yeah. Lilethe is possessive, but not naturally. I mean, skunktaurs aren't usually possessive by nature. Lilethe's case is particular for two reasons:

First, Lilethe lost her skunktaurs parents in an accident. Hy was already an adult and had just graduated as a nurse from Dewclaw when it happened. So, that awakened in hym a slightly exaggerated instinct of possession, the fear of losing something dear (In addition, hys parents' accident caused hym some problems with alcohol).

The second reason is Esteban himself. He is a guy who lives getting into trouble in the previous three books. So Lilethe protects him too much for that reason.

Yeah, I understand perfectly, as you have explained it very clearly both here and in the stories. Esteban is a poor poor man, so it’s natural to worry about him, even Regthar subconsciously goes to Esteban’s room and sleeps next to him in book 3, and to be honest, I think I would too if I were them haha 😂 speaking of which, I couldn’t help but think one of Esteban’s family would accompany him to see Brend, you know, better be safe than sorry haha 😜

Lilethe had alcohol problem? That’s news to me…I thought she only hanged out with Ugkar and Doren to compensate for the loss of her parents.

Yes, he won't go alone. And as for Lilethe, well, I haven't said it explicitly in the stories, but yes, hy had problems with alcohol. And Lilethe sought refuge in Doren and Ugkar's clan. And Lilethe really loved them both. Hy still loves Doren. But hy distanced hymself from them both when Ugkar started showing hostility towards humans, getting involved with anti-human groups in Berdoovia. Right around that time, Lilethe met Esteban.

And so a beautiful bond was born…by a chance encounter, their lives are met, intertwined, and tied.
