It’s possible the skeleton is animated because Roko was possessing Bottlenose BEFORE Roko got him electrocuted. If Roko is suppressing the soul when he possesses a body, shouldn’t the original soul remain in the body while possessed? Also, Roko couldn’t feel the sensation of being burned when he possessed his own body. With that in mind, what happens in the case when someone is possessed by a ghost that didn’t feel the sensation of the body burning to ashes? It could be that since Roko didn’t experience the sensation of “death”, Bottlenose didn’t either, so he “woke up” in his “body”. Now he’s angry at how badly his “tenant” has left him.
Either way, it’s probably because Roko was in control, even as Bottlenose was reduced to bones, that Bottlenose’s soul is stuck in his own corpse. Otherwise, Bottlenose’s soul would have left there and then when his body was no more, just like when Ayal was burnt to cinders or when Cellarius was flattened.
Wait a minute, Bottlenose's eyes aren't glowing. So that might not be the case here (key word, might).
When Roko was in possession of Bottlenose's body, or any other kind of possessed object. The eyes were always green, even skeletal remains had glowing green eyes.
I don't exactly know how the world of Rain Burn fully works, but it must have some sort of rules at play here.
