Since you are like the only person I know thats made a flamedramon suit I thought you'd be the best person to ask. I really wanted to make one as well but I cant seem to wrap my head around the concept. If you dont mind how did you construct all his armor especially his head piece. I just cant figure it out. Oh yeah and by the way I love the suit so much!! The whole thing is spectacular!!
Thanks so much for the compliment <3 And I'd be glad to help out! All of the armour and body shape was created using apholstery foam and simply sculpting it; the hands are hollow and contain a grip inside for me to hold on to. The feet, thighs and head are the same, all sculpted with foam, and furred to make them appear to have armour on them. :) If you have any other questions, please let me know!
ok so the hand, feet and thigh part is cleared up but the head is still confusing. did you like build his head then just add on the armor like two seperate pieces or is it all one piece?? I am most likely overthinking this as I do everything. and the material you used looks like it could be fleece?
I can't believe I all most forgot this. I feel like vision is one of the most important parts! In the picture flamedramons eyes are on the side of his head and last time i checked my eyes are on the front of my face....I think. were do you see out of the mask? I feel like you see out of the front and if you do it's well hidden. Kuddos!!!
