Here is a short write up (2 and a half pages) I did for a friend who's cultural anthropology teacher was failing to properly educate (along with the rest of the class). I outline the four types of society in a detailed, yet general manner. Reading this is a good way to become familiar with the general characteristics of different societies, but i would recommend doing independent research or taking a college course in culture if you really want to learn in-depth details about different societies and cultures found around the world.
