June 3rd when I got home from work, Steve told me to be careful as I entered the house. I knew right then that there must have been a fawn in the house. I go in to see Willow laying next to her one fawn.
I’m not sure where she decided to have her fawns, but I’m willing to guess that it was either under the carport, or near it. Steve was thinking she might have only the one who was a buck, but Willow was way too Chunky, so I figured there had to be a second one. I wanted to name him Buck, or Vince, but Steve named him Vinny.
The reason why they were brought into the house is because they are twice as small as fallow Fawns when they are born, and they happen to get tangled in things which is how tangle got his.
It is now June 11th, and I’m surprised that I haven’t seen any signs of any Fallow Fawns, but I did notice this morning that Cookie looked like she discovered a new diet.
