Ummm, sorry to burst your bubble, but the Jedi Temple probably woudn't be rebult for a long time. If you played any of the "Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast" saga Luke moved the Temple to the base on Yaven 4. I am not a fan, I just played a few star wars games, thats all.

Yeah I know which is why I didn't get specific with the date. Just that it was after the period of the Empire. Sides though I wouldn't put it past though. If you have the ability to hop from star system to star system rebuilding a building isn't going to be that immensely difficult. But at anyway as i said. I kept the exact date vague for a reason.

If it's a Jedi Temple for the New Jedi Order...it'd be post-Yuuzhan Vong Empire (as up till that era...there was no temple at all, just the Praxeum on Yavin IV...then places like Eclipse, the Errant Venture, etc. after the Vong vongformed Yavin IV) therefore during the era of the GFFA (at least before the Dark Nest Crisis). *nerd moment*

Yeah. Guess I should have spent a few hours doing research on the StarWars timeline to be entirely consistent with the existing cannon. XD I mean I would have had the temple rebuilt or at least A temple somewhere built not too long after things settled down. Certainly it would have at least started within Luke's lifetime. I mean seriously how hard could erecting a building be when you can cross the flipping galaxy?

But I suppose this is mostly irrelevant coming from someone who hasn't read any of the StarWars novels or played all the various games out there.

Thankfully Luke managed to get a Temple and a Jedi Council in his lifetime (the Council was technically made just after the GFFA was formed during the Yuuzhan Yong War, but didn't become purely a Jedi Council till after). The Praxeum was established instead of a temple so they could build the Jedi Order back from extinction and Yavin IV was chosen for several reasons (I think Jedi Search would be the go to for why Luke went to Yavin after the death of the last clone of Palpatine for an academy).

*eyes spin* Ok. You realize most of those references are lost on me as I said before I'm not familiar with almost any of this. I only knew about Palpatine's clones because I did a bit of research on his character. Well I guess this teaches me a lesson for trying to set a character in a little used Era. Apparently all of them have intricately established lore and it appears there isn't any length of time where there isn't a large scale war.

At any rate though I still think it's retarded that a proper temple wasn't built for CENTURIES after the first one's destruction. Once again I state that if your civilization can cross the galaxy in a practical amount of time like this than there is no reason it couldn't have been done. Certainly putting up a temple of some sort somewhere on a civilized world would be easier than say building even the most basic of starships. I think this may be a failing of Lucas to grasp the idea that you don't need centuries to pass for something to get accomplished.

At any rate I'm done with my rant here and apologize for any rudeness to my tone. Lets right off Taikio's back story to me not knowing much about StarWars beyond the last movie and assuming a good degree of competence in either the characters of the franchise or Lucus himself. Though given the Clone Wars animated series perhaps I shouldn't have expected much competence from him. *shrugs*

:P Hence why I don't bother watching The Clone Wars (although the older Clone Wars was enjoyable...despite being shorties).
