[Comm] Hothadryth and Irtos
This illustration was commissioned by Duality_the_Bre on Twitter.
I asked them what they would like shared about the characters and this is what they sent me:
Characters
Hothadryth (aka Lyre): Human, monk/cleric.
A travelling healer, offering her services to anyone in need, and typically writing off the cost. Though she will gladly accept payment in the form of good food. A follower of the dragonic goddess Tamara, she shows mercy frequently to enemies to either herself or her patients, and has a particular soft spot for kobolds, and gives them more compassion than most other humanoids.
Irtos (aka Kazdak): Kobold, artificer/rogue
Inventor by day, revolutionary by night, she's seen as a daughter figure by Hothadryth. Having been raised under Hothadryth's wing since hatching, she shares her ideals of showing mercy to her kind, and has taken action to attempt to free them from the oppressive treatment most dragons use on them. With Hothadryth's security, and her inventions (that have never blown up in her face, ever), she's made good progress in persuading her kind to defect and rise up against the tyranny of dragons.
