oh basically two armies go in the place where they do it such a desert and basically conduct military operations it can be land, sea or air or all three, and it simulates actual military combat, only differences though is that instead of live ammunition, its more like laser tag only on a huge scale the soldiers wear vests with sensors and their normal rifles have sensors attached to them and sensors are attached to tanks, armored personnel carriers, aircraft etc, so basically its the closest to actual combat without actually killing each other. For military exercises the Granadan Defense Forces can send the 5th Mountain Infantry Brigade by airlift and by ship, their the only unit trained in desert warfare their about 3,000 soldiers, the Granadan Air Force can send in their 'Hunter Squadron' with 18 JAS-39 Gripen C fighters and also 10 Mi-35 Hind attack helicopters as well as a handful of Mi-8 hip transport helicopters so this exercise may be on a smaller scale.
ah okay, alright the Granadan Defense Forces will organize that about 4,000 Granadan Mountain Infantry, and Paratroopers will be participating along with Gripen fighters from the 'Hunter' Squadron, and Mi-35 Hinds along with Mi-8 Hip transport helicopters, Granadans are used to mountain warfare so conducting a military operation in the Hijaz will suite them so be in for a tough simulated fight, but then the desert out in the open would put them in a disadvantage so that's usually a place where they can lose, but they can win in the mountains
Well we got a squadron of JAS-39 Gripens joining in we can see how are air forces fair, but the GAF(Granadan Air Force) is relatively small, with 36 Gripen NG's and 24 Super Tucanos and 12 Ka-50 Hokums, and 40 Mi-17 Hips, and a handful of transport aircraft and quite a number of trainers.
Well when the Canadian Armed forces turned into the Canadian Imperial Armed Forces, we got a mix bag of gear. Mostly the CF-18s, CF-35s, But now we are manufacturing an indigenous ground attack aircraft. Our Helos are in limbo at the moment, we bought up some nice new ones from both Russia and Europe to hold us over as well as study. Only thing is our only experienced guys are ones from Libya and that when we only had 60 planes.
The GAF technically has 36 Fighter Aircraft and 12 Attack Helicopters, that's because Granada's population is roughly 4 million and their active forces are around 42,000 strong but has 250,000+ in reserve. Hmm F-18s and F-35s? Well the main fighters of Granada's rival, Spain are the Eurofighter, the F-18 and the Mirage F1, and so the Granadan Air Force pilots are very familiar with the F-18, the F-35 though their less familiar, but they may know how to counter it.
Here's an article on the Gripen verses the F-35:

Essentially the both have their strengths and weaknesses

Well the Empires population is just under 10 times that and Im going to guess were quite a bit larger. Lost of land, air and sea to watch over. We also are taking a more isolationist view of the world. After the fragmentation of NATO we decided that indigenous weapons systems were better once we ourselves are capable of manufacturing them. Example, fist them we did was order in large amounts of Warsaw-pact vehicles and larger weapons systems.
Since then we have been phasing them out and have left them for use the Home Guard, reserve and the police. (in the case of the police we replace the cannons on APCs with water cannons and tear gas launchers)

The Empire is on the end of its second 5 year plan for expanded economic growth. Now mind you its not a command economy. Its similer to the China Model in some ways. While there is an overall market economy for goods the state controls most utilities, water, power telecommunications. As well as the export of certain products like most staple goods, petroleum products, military arms and exported power. By doing this we can keep the price of certain foods and utilities low.
Since the Empire was formed after the revolution and the new plans implemented we have been able to grow the economy at about 6-8% a year with a planned drop off in the next few years.
Also since the new regime was formed we have manged to opt out of certain unfavorable agreements, like NAFTA. Citing that no member of our administration ever agreed or signed said documents. Effects of this on other nations are becoming clear. Example, since we now ship most of our surplus grain to Asia, Europe and to other nations as food aid. In the US corn bread is becoming much more common. Some groups in the US have complained of this, demanding we sell them grain at old prices. However we state that the nations we export too offer us a better price and ontop of that, US companies have been pumping corn syrup into all there food they bought from us since the Reagan years so now all there doing is skipping a step.

Oh come on, okay how about this you give them a CHOICE to play on either side each with a complex character and all, I have feeling in Granada this sort of thing like a video game would pop up months after the war has ended. So if you want to market to 49 million then give them a choice and like two seperate campaigns, a Granadan Campaign and a Spanish Campaign
You notice how RARE that is with video games? I have only ever found TWO WW2 game which I could pick sides, this awesome air combat game where I could be USN or IJNAS and this tank warfare game where I could be Red Army or Wehrmacht. You have no idea how much I'd love to fly a Zero or drive a King Tiger and rip up some Wildcats or T-34s
Strike two for capitalism, dude this war was started by Spain and Granada, a small nation defended itself against an enemy several times its size in numbers I bet you if this was Israel verses the Arab States the video game would be from the Israeli side even though there's a lot less Israelis than Arabs so cut the BS
Well Granada's standard of living is just as good as the rest of Europe so you have no excuse to ignore them And why are so racist and generalizing about the Arabs? As we speak these democratic revolutions are proving the world wrong about them, *sigh* I got a bunch of videos related to that so I might be uploading a few in the Muslim furs group.
Naw, that's not the reason. They're a big and fast-growing potential market, It's that translating stuff into Arabic is HELL! My god, there's like 5 pairs of letters that almost sound the same. Plus that essential phlegm-hacking sound you need. You have no idea how hard it is to find a wheezing person when you need it
So for now I'm selling them stuff that doesn't need translation, like Solid Gold Hummer H2s

Ugh X3, well in Granada it'll be easy since Spain and Granada both speak Spanish albeit, different dialects but both understand standard Spanish. But still as the Arab world rises Arabic will be more and more prevalent as they grow in wealth and prosperity so sooner or later you'll have to do it, besides in the Golden Age Arabic was the international language of science :3
Aye X3 well you know European governments after cutting up Africa with no respect to racial or religious divisions not to mention stealing their resources has really messed up Africa, before the Europeans came along Africa had powerful Empires like the Empire of Mali in which when Mansa Moosa came to Mecca his convoy had obscene amounts of gold they were tramendously wealthy, but you know when Europeans came along they screwed things up and Africa basically has a right to say 'I've been raped' not to mention the European slave trade thinking blacks are animals so you know Europe is not all goody, goody they have a very dark history of countless misdeeds.
Well Latin America and Asia had a basis for them to grow, Africa well, when they divided them up often two or more opposing tribes were put in the same country which would have bad implications later on, Africa is in need of unity sense a lot of it especially Central Africa needs to put an end to tribalism.
I'm pretty certain India, Pakistan and Bangladesh haven't always been divided by those borders, and Borneo wasn't always split between Malaysia and Singapore so don't think the Europeans didn't do some border drawing here as well. Subsaharan Africa's the rut of the world and it really has itself to blame for still being in it.
I dunno if it's coincidence or not that the most economically prosperous, productive and stable country of Africa was ruled by whites up until the last 20 years. I'd like to think not, but it's hard to argue when all their surrounding neighbours have gone down the toilet
