I like the overall feel here, and it's making me consider the idea that Atremath is protective enough of Gabriel that now that he has a subconscious forced form change a la the Hulk that he gets forced into it constantly when they're together and can't actually communicate with him (Gabriel might not even realize it's him? Will have to think about it).
