This picture looked WAAAY better on my camera when I took it. =/ Leave it to a craptastic picture to ruin hours of work.

But anyways as you can see I finally finished project Moonkin! A Moonkin is from the game World of Warcraft, and is this odd combination of bear, owl, and deer (?).

I purchased the yellow led eyes from Monoyasha. They look really awesome when you turn the lights down, they have a bit of an eerie glow to them. The battery pack is hidden in the base of the neck in a little pocket so you can turn it off and on.

This was built on a wooden base with a large wooden dowel acting as the 'vertebrae' to support everything, then foam was added and carved over top of it. The base was then covered with faux fur that was airbrushed with dark blue and grey tints.

The ears are made out of latex and are actually a set of Night Elf cosplay ears that were painted.

The beak was carved out of styrofoam and then covered with air dry clay and painted. The horns are made from vinyl and are light weight.

The wooden plaque it is mounted on was made by my Dad. =)
