Reynard is very smart, and doesn't suffer fools gladly. In fact he'd rather not suffer them at all. He can often be short tempered when dealing with people he regards as his intellectual inferiors, and he regards quite a few people as his intellectual inferiors.
He's not without empathy, however: Growing up completely destitute taught him that lesson early, and he has been known to toss a coin or two to beggars as he passes by, even if his own coinpurse is a bit light.
He can be charming when he wants to be, and if he can reign in his distaste for "the dullards".

I'll be playing him in our group's new campaign, I can't wait!

In my head he sounds like Jean Reno. If you ask him what the fox says he'll happily shoot you in the kneecap.
