Here is one of the first pictures of the mysterious alien fey known as Immaculata that I drew for PM. I enjoyed dressing her in one of the cultural outfits common to the females of the Aiyeedara species, and in this rare moment she lets others perceive but some of the vast number of mystical markings burned into her flesh in a futile effort to contain her tremendous power as a child. Few know the enigmatic past of this long-lived being, but some sages believe that she has appeared at pivotal points throughout history, on occasion in different forms and guises, to heal and comfort fallen heroes just when all hope seemed lost, provide wise and timely counsel to good leaders to counter the rise of cruel and nefarious despots, and has actively fought to save the world from the ever present threat from ancient evils that want nothing less than the absolute victory of catastrophic darkness. Others see her as the bringer of chaos and a manipulator of lives and fate itself...a strange and unfathomable being that uses her near-immortality and vast unearthly powers to ultimately cower humanity and elevate herself and her followers to rule over the world. After the turbulent events of the Faerie Rebellion and the dreadful Rift Wars, this much seems true: Lady Immaculata rose to become elected Regent over a nearly unified Earth once the last treaties were signed and the weapons of war were left to the dust, and an age of peace and prosperity followed. The world is slowly healing and, despite the ravages of the Wars and the lingering hatred some still harbor in their miserable souls, the majority of inhabitants of Earth are finally starting to enjoy universal acceptance and appreciation...human, anthropomorph, mutant, alien, synthetic and fey! Ultimately, Lady Immaculata appears to have fought and sacrificed on the side of good for her adopted world...
