Monty settles down for a hot rock nap. Letting the warmth add to his body and cook his prey in that fat tight bulge... He tells them about slithering into a hole so no one can interrupt his digestion. Seems to be pretty poor words. As not even an hour later, someone grabs him!

A most interesting new development. The python's unexpected capture by another human strongly suggests that Violet may survive yet another ingestion which under normal circumstances would have her ending up as a lower link in the food chain. In real life, when a python that has ingested a big meal like this is disturbed as we see here, the first impulse is usually to disgorge its prey as fast as possible so it will be better able to fight or flee. Perhaps the person grabbing the snake has no idea how dangerous this is. A normal 'rescuer' would simply kill the snake if it had the means to do so. But if the person now trying to capture the python (for we still do not know if they will succeed), knows that it swallowed Violet but WANTS to both capture it AND still want it to digest her, all they would have to is first anesthetize the snake and put a tight collar on its neck just behind its head, which will prevent it from regurgitating, and Violet and Indigo will absolutely experience a final, one way trip through the python's alimentary canal, subjected to a digestive system so powerful that in a week's time even her largest bones will be completely dissolved and her only recognizable remains would be her hair, nails and teeth. If the person grabbing the python is alone and weaponless though, this is a very foolhardy action, for it can disgorge its prey surprisingly fast and then have the agility to make its new tormenter its next prey, which then could give Violet and Indigo a chance to escape.
