I normally reserve this account for NSFW material, but I decided to re-upload this wonderful old piece because it features a character who will appear in the next NSFW piece of art.
Another wonderful piece commissioned from
Desertratphelios Some cosplay featuring my characters Michael Sauerpüss the grey foxaroo and “Misty” Hayes the spotted hyena. This is from the 90’s teen fantasy-drama series “Spellbinder” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spellb.....28TV_series%29), a joint production by Telewizja Polska (Polland) and Film Australia created by Mark Shirrefs and John Thomson. Michael here is playing Spellbinder Correon, while Misty is playing the villainous character Spellbinder Ashka.
Ashka was played by Australian actress Heather Mitchel, whose gorgeous red hair I copied when creating my hyena character Misty. If by some freak chance Heather Mitchell sees this I want to apologise for applying her likeness to one of nature’s ugliest beasts, but another way of looking at it is that the character has been tremendously improved in appearance by applying Heather’s stunning ginger curls. Incidentally Heather Mitchell also appeared as one of the train wreck victims in the mini-series “Day of the Roses” in which you can see her admirable versatility as an actress – very different character to Ashka.
These depict various scenes from series #1 of Spellbinder. (Some episodes were on YouTube, but as I expected YT has removed them for copyright reasons.)
Left (Epsode 11, almost halfway in): Correon accepts Ashka's challenge to a duel
Top (Episode 24, about one third of the way in): Ashka dupes a scientist from this world to create an upgraded version of the Spellbinder power suits, and includes the ability to levitate.
Bottom (Episode 8, about three-quarters of the way in): In one of my favorite scenes, Correon almost succeeds in opening the portal back to this world.
Right (Episode 5, right near the start): Ashka piloting the flying ship.
This commission came about because I had earlier commissioned Desertratphelios to illustrate an idea I had for Spellbinder suits for the scout class in Team Fortress 2 (http://ozfoxaroo.deviantart.com/art.....tyle-467678455). After that I wanted a furry version, and here we are.
