The Diamond Cutter's Cyclone was often rode by Slinger The Ocelot and modified by Smithy The Lion to be durable on top of powerful. It can outpace even the fastest Badnik and perhaps keep pace with any of the Hedgehogs. Assuming they weren't in a hurry at least. In an emergency, it could reconfigure itself into Battle Armor that could protect its rider. Though it was often hidden out of sight in the event Eggman got his hands on their tools...
Whisper often practiced to make sure that she could ride it in a pinch but it was slow going even with guidance and had little confidence compared to that of Mimic. But when the Octopus valued his life too much at the expense of his friends... Whisper almost succumbed to despair and returned to base a broken soldier. That is until she uncovered Smithy's new Wispon and found a spark of hope.
A spark Whisper would rekindle by getting onto Slinger's Cyclone and riding out into the war torn world of the Eggman Empire. Like an Angel, she would swoop in and use the element of surprise to even the odds for those in need of backup. And like an Angel, she would ride off too fast to even hear a "Thank you." She had to keep going, to keep moving. Stay too long would result in getting attached.
Attachments that could be severed violently. All over again.
It was her fate to stay alone, to keep her heart at bay, while giving all the protection she had failed to with those before. Until Sonic himself and a rookie from Spiral Hill began to remind her what she had once been truly fighting for...
