The ocean is alive, like a person it has moods. It's a world as distinct as if it were another planet. Having a fear of its dark depths and toothy inhabitants, I'm content simply basking in it's presence and salty wind.

Until they came up with a "better" name... and they did not for obvious unfortunate circumstance I assume. It's almost impossible to picture him with any other name. I mean imagine if he were called Kieth or Goob or something else generic. [movie references no one probably remembers]
