Here is a line art copy of one of the pages of Fusion. This episode is my script from an idea by Lex Nakashima, the creator, my initial pencils, then Lela Dowling did her inks and I'd then do my part of the inks and then the tone art.

Me too. Fusion (and Dreamery, of course) were the among the first comics to begin weaning me away from Marvel and DC. Every now and then I pull them out for a re-read, and they're still just as enjoyable.

Fusion was something really special in that time of overcrowded comic shelves. I still have the entire run safely tucked away, one of those special comics, like Starman or Zot!, that's going to my grave with me.

Ahhh...What a great series! ....Wish it could have gone on for a few more years at least!

Like "Dragonfly"...They did eventually do the feature "Serenity"....

Any chance of a reprise like that?

Man, that two-pass inking process must've taken forever what with having to mail the stuff back and forth. Or did you and Lela live in the same city at the time?

No, we did the snail-mail shuffle. She was in the Bay area and I in Seattle. Fortunately, she was a fast inker which made up for some of the transit time.

There is a reprint of the first five issues that just got printed, don't know where it is out through though. I have pretty much all the single issues availalbe as well.

Oh, wonderful!!! I was looking for something like that for ages, and nothing turned up -- I wound up looking up the publisher of the Weasel Patrol collection as a wild guess and it turns out it's them! http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A.....20/?1936404494
