Sid died today. I'm completely heartbroken, lost and I've not had many chances in between crying to feel anything but how much it hurts.
Sid was a rescue as a baby, too young so we took him in when the store tried to sell him as an 'adult' cockatiel.
Years later, he was a happy, active, silly, singing lil birb with a tale to tell.
We were both broken things, he's healed me so much knowing him. He'd play, sing, everything.
I'm going to miss you lil' man.
My heart hurts.
