Lord Tad (a nickname no one dares call him) is more than a bit depressed by by being forced into marriage to Lady Purloin, and so, already somewhat into his cups attempts to get his ex-mistress/Major-Domo to join him in a toast to the possible nuptuals.
She broke-off with him nearly a year ago so that he would find a socially acceptable wife - some Lady or Baroness. It hasn't been easy for either of them...
What will happen? Shame to waste a nice bottle of sparkling wine like that...Maybe for old time's sake...Oh, dear...
This complicated and Willa hasn't arrived at the castle yet...

The finer pen lines are lost here. :( The upper right background stayed unfinished untill a few months ago when i returned to doing traditional media.
Minimal Digital editing: i messed-up the bottom of the bottle a bit, reworked about a quarter of it. Removed cheek line from Tad's expression - it made him look smarmy, when in fact he's sad - he wants to get back together with her...So what if the shire is in debt? So what if they can't officially wed...
Sorry about large file size - fine line work does not sit well in the digi world - it can't be compressed by algorithms, the current size of pixels don't do it justice, etc etc.

Worked that one a square inch at a time...Doesn't make it great art. Fun, maybe...Like a heavy metal solo.
Waka-waka-waka. - But good art is based on idea and emotion, even erotic art - how it is conveyed is part of the idea...
Here i'm doing a story set in sort of medieval times, so an old fashioned sort of art fits it. :)

dA acct is free, like FA. A few pages of filling in name/blah-blah and you're in. Tons of furs and furry clubs - you'd prolly have fun there!
"Anthro" is one of the major sections of art. Snoop around - i think you'll like it a lot! :)
FA is a bit more like a virtual con, we're all furs here, and chat in a more relaxed way, but dA has it's good sides too, you can find all sorts of art and photos, stuff that just sparks creativity... :)

Well, the technology does a bit a co-prat-fall with the traditional media.
The scan is a bit greyer - the pens aren't that black - and even if you erase and erase the scanner still picks up some pencil lines...
So you try to lighten the image a bit to get rid of the ghost pencils and you lose the fine lines...you try to darken the image a bit and you get some pencil lines back in...so a few hours of carefully painting in white over pencil lines...
The pattern on her coverlet or wimple or whatever those are called - Yeah, that was a pain.
( But let's not dismiss "species etc".... ;> )

Great, now i'm misreading as "Lord Toad" and all i can think of is "Mr.Toad's Wild Ride" from "The Wind In The Willows", and the old Disneyland ride....and that if there was a "Lord Tad's Wild Ride" it would likely be A. Illegal in most countries, B. It would prolly take a year in line to get there, and, C. why the screeemin heck isn't there such a thing??????.....uhm...my wife isn't reading this is she, er...uhm...".hi dear, if you are, yes, the dishes.....get right to them.....".......
