From a young age, Mead Luxmyn had an obsession with fermentae brewing, and sought a job at a brewery to make it her life's work. When she found the Dry Vein in Ruskol, she was smitten with its connections to the top quality (and illegal) brewing operations of Scinter's Mark, as well as her power-using coworker Azel. After Azel started putting on shows arguing against the powers ban in the Dry Vein's secret bar, Mead eventually got his help awakening her own power.

Mead is a careful fighter, avoiding direct confrontation in favor of using her power. Using the smoke it makes, she stays far away from harm while leaving her attackers incapacitated before closing the gap and taking them out without having to put up much of a fight.
