Let's kick things off today with another Hawthorne daughter! Amala is the oldest of them (at least, so far), and is the mother of Kit. She's a part-leopard lady, a high school teacher in her mid-forties. She grew up with her mother, and still maintains a relationship with her despite their differences (while it's not entirely positive, it's certainly better than most of Samantha's relationships with her children). While she can be a bit of a pushover at times, or at least talked into things, she does carry an assertive streak from her mother that rears its head on occasion, and is how she caught her half-kitsune husband, a businessman from Japan.
