Nah, I never do bad end stuff, so my idea is that this ends in one of two ways:
1. Once the shop keeper is in a dark enough room and is no longer casting a shadow, Peach is able to free herself.
Or
2. Doopliss comes back, finds/frees Peach and swaps back with her after getting tired of Bowser trying to kidnap him every other day.

I like to think that Peach is basically stretching her shadow out, so once Peach leaves, the shadow/shopkeeper will shrink back to normal over time (probably a few weeks). That said, it may result in some "stretch marks" that don't go away at all, like some extra curves that she didn't originally have, even at her smaller size.
