Ahh, this was so fun to do~
I decided to play with digital painting styles again! I followed a tip from the amazing
and merged my inks (except her eyes, nose, and mouth) with my flats, shaded everything as one layer, and then went back over it to redefine the bits that needed touching up. :3
This is not necessarily Hetalia-themed, but I guess that darn (read: AWESOME) series is still to blame for inspiring me, even right down to her derpcute expression! I've been wanting to draw her in a cute Italian-themed shirt for a while now anyway, so I'm glad I was finally able to do so~ I really love everything about the way this turned out, gah... The mental image hit me while I was working on something else, but I completely dropped what I was doing and just...omg she came out so cuuute... It's rare for a drawing to come out exactly as I see it in my head, but this one actually did. ;3; <33
